Al Ain slaughterhouses gear up for Eid Al Adha

Al Ain: Al Ain Municipality’s slaughterhouses have intensified their field visits and awareness campaigns to ensure readiness for Eid Al Adha.

Mohammad Salem Al Shamsi, director of the Department of Public Health, said that Eid Al Adha preparations involved launching awareness campaigns that aimed at raising public awareness on the importance of slaughtering animals inside slaughterhouses and the possible risks of random slaughter as well as the dangers of roaming butchers who might be unfamiliar with the Islamic rulings of slaughtering sacrifices and do not have health fitness certificates.
