Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Municipality has recently organised a ceremony to honour its strategic partners who contributed to the resounding success of an emergency drill carried out at Shaikh Zayed tunnel.
The drill was carried out to simulate real emergencies that may occur at the tunnel and was successfully completed according to the best international standards and specifications used in major emergencies and accidents.
The municipality also honoured institutions and individuals who contributed to the success of a traffic solutions workshop, which was organised lately.
During the ceremony, the municipality stressed the importance of boosting its cooperation and integration with all institutions and authorities so as to maintain the safety of road users through applying the best international standards in handling emergency cases.
