Abu Dhabi launches awareness campaign on thefts

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police on Wednesday launched an awareness campaign titled “Our Money … Our Responsibility” to educate all segments of the community how to secure and protect their money against theft.

Dr Hamoud Al Afari, acting head of the Community Policing Section at Abu Dhabi Police, said the “Our Money … Our Responsibility” campaign focuses on heightening the awareness of the society including bank customers and owners of vehicles as these two segments are the most vulnerable to theft.

The awareness campaign will also focus on explaining the necessary procedures to be followed when dealing with e-trade websites, Al Afari added.
