A joint commission to be set up between Emirates ID and Abu Dhabi Police

Abu Dhabi: The Emirates Identity Authority (Eida) and the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police have discussed mechanisms for setting up a joint technical commission which aims at strengthening cooperation between the two sides and taking advantage of the identity card applications.

They also discussed mechanisms of the development of e-services to the public and increasing their effectiveness.

During a meeting held at the headquarters of the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, the two sides reviewed ways to exchange information and experiences and building a common vision and understanding for the usage, benefits and advantages of the identity card.
