Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dubai Future Foundation, attended on Sunday the closing ceremony of the third edition of Dubai Future Accelerator Programme.

While visiting Dubai Future Accelerator Headquarters, Shaikh Hamdan said the wise vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is leading Dubai at an accelerated pace to set a global model of future cities with exceptional working methods that develop innovative solutions to challenges.

He added, “The results achieved through the programme’s three editions reaffirm that Dubai is pressing ahead confidently towards the future, creating an enabling and stimulating environment to accelerate the achievement of the goals.

It also reflects that Dubai has developed innovative and effective services in various sectors that affect the lives of the people and contribute to their happiness.”

During his visit, Shaikh Hamdan toured the pavilions of participating entities including Emirates, Humanitarian Accelerators, Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Municipality.

He was briefed about some future inventions, which cope with the challenges announced by government bodies, using artificial intelligence technology and digital transaction systems.

The closing ceremony of the programme witnessed signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoU) between Dubai’s entities and an elite group of international companies participating in the third edition.

Shaikh Hamdan was accompanied by Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future and Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, as well as other senior officials.
