Sharjah: A 13-year-old Arab girl succumbed to injuries after a motorbike she was riding flipped over several times in the desert in Sharjah on March 24, Sharjah Police said on Wednesday.

The girl died on Monday at Al Qasimi Hospital, four days after the accident.

“An ambulance, rescue team, and a traffic patrol rushed to the scene of the accident and rushed the girl to Al Qasimi Hospital,” an officer said.

An initial investigation of the crash indicated that the girl was riding alone and lost control of the motorbike and received serious head injuries.
