Victims killed instantly as vehicle smashes into truck at speed on Sharjah Airport Road
Sharjah: Four people were killed in a car accident in Sharjah early on Tuesday morning, traffic officals told Gulf News.
The deadly crash took place on the Sharjah Airport Road at around 2am when a vehicle with four people, including two Emarati and two Asian workers, smashed into a truck.
Police and paramedics said all the four were killed instantly on impact.
Preliminary investigations showed that one of the victims was driving at a high speed before losing control.
The bodies were moved to Al Qassimi Hospital to be handed over to their family.
Al Hera Police launched an investigation into the accident.
Sharjah Police urged motorists to pay attention while driving and abide by road speed limits.
