Fire damages chalets in Ras Al Khaimah labour accommodation

Ras Al Khaimah: Four wooden chalets in a labour accommodation were gutted on Sunday in a blaze that erupted at the labour camp in Al Jazera Al Hamara, but no casualties were reported.

A senior officer at the emirate's Civil Defence Department said that the department received a report of the blaze at the labour camp.

Firefighters immediately rushed to the scene to put the fire under control.

Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
