Fire breaks out at library in Ras Al Khaimah school

Ras Al Khaimah: The Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence succeeded in bringing under control a fire that broke out in a library of Al Hamham secondary school in the emirate. The fire completely destroyed the library.

The Civil Defence operation room received a call on Sunday at a round 11.30am reporting the incident.

Firefighters moved immediately to the scene of the incident. The Civil Defence team evacuated the staff and students as a precautionary measure.

No casualties were reported, an official said.

Ras Al Khaimah Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
