No casualties reported in blaze that had broken out on Monday morning
Abu Dhabi: A fire broke that broke out in a scrap warehouse in Musaffah area of Abu Dhabi city on Monday morning, has now been put out, police have tweeted.
In a tweet, Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that the blaze had broken out in scrap warehouse, and had been successfully extinguished “following a quick response” by Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority.
“There were no casualties. A site cooling operation is now underway,” the police confirmed.
In an earlier alert, the police said authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire, and urged residents only to rely on verified sources for their information.
