Dubai: An Etihad flight from Melbourne to Abu Dhabi was diverted to Jakarta following a “series of incidents”, according to the airline spokesman.

He did not elaborate, but Flight EY461 from Melbourne arrived at Abu Dhabi four hours behind schedule, and landed safely on Tuesday yesterday morning. It had departed on Monday.

Abu Dhabi police officers are questioning passengers and crew members from the Boeing Co. 777-300ER widebody plane as part of the probe.
