Readers not impressed with the Dubai Zoo

“I love animals and I have visited many zoos and wildlife parks. But I don’t like the Dubai Zoo. Animals are being kept in a very confined space. Sometimes we do not understand that animals are living beings. If we humans don’t like being confined, we do not have the right to confine the animals either. Dubai Zoo must move their animals to a much larger space and a better environment.” Akhil Sateesh

“I wasn’t particularly impressed with the Dubai Zoo. I remember the giraffe in particular and I kept wondering for a while, how did it survive in such a small space? However, I think that they do try to look after the animals. But, I still do not support the idea of having wild animals living in a small space in any city, wildlife parks are a better alternative.”

“The compact Dubai Zoo makes it very easy for parents with small children. The children get their share of entertainment without getting tired. However, it does make me happy, when I hear that efforts are being made to move the animals to a different location. I visited Kenya and it was really nice to see the animals roaming free in their natural environment.”

But, on the other hand I was not very pleased with the condition of the animals, it was unhygienic.
