Dubai: Dubai Municipality’s Waste Management Department organised the first Scientific Innovation Forum in collaboration with the municipality’s Knowledge and Creativity Department and educational institutions.
The forum will encourage students to explore the best practices in the field of integrated waste management through research, reading and exploration of the best practices that can be harnessed and applied within the department’s operations.
The forum was inaugurated by Hussain Nasser Lootah, director-general of Dubai Municiplaity. He commended the efforts of the Waste Management Department to meet and cooperate with the country’s scientific institutions to take advantage of the best educational and scientific practices and research in order to derive the best solutions to all problems.
