Dubai: Rain clouds hovering over the UAE are expected to precipitate showers over the next few days.

Dubai will experience rain in dribs and drabs until Wednesday, according to Clive Stevens, duty forecaster at Dubai Met Office.

Weather experts also think that the cloud cover will not remain in one place but move around the region. The whole region in fact is currently experiencing a spell of generally overcast and cool conditions, from Afghanistan to the Gulf.

Rainfall will not be too heavy but there maybe isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures will be chilly and range between a minimum of 15 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 20 degrees Celsius.

No warnings to motorists have been issued as fog, heavy rain and high winds are completely ruled out for the next few days.

Wet roads may cause traffic to slow up and result in tailbacks in certain areas.

The weather, although grey, will not affect visibility and airports are not expected to face delays on this count. Offshore, a thunderstorm warning has been issued. North easterly winds may go up to 25 knots over the sea, said Stevens. Sea levels could also swell to four feet.
