Desert clean-up campaign organised in Sharjah

Sharjah: Sharjah Municipality organised a desert clean up campaign as part of its efforts to raise awareness on the preservation of desert wildlife and cleanliness.

Nada Saeed Al Suwaidi, director of the municipality’s organisational communication department, which organised the campaign, said it was part of the municipality’s efforts to ensure a clean environment that can be enjoyed by all people visiting the deserts. She said that students from the Al Majd Model School participated in the campaign, as well as a huge number of employees from Sharjah Police, Sharjah’s Environment and Protected Areas Authority and Sharjah Educational Zone.
