Abu Dhabi Municipality earns award for public lighting strategy

Abu Dhabi: The implementation of a sustainable and innovative public lighting strategy for the capital has earned the Municipality of Abu Dhabi the Professional Lighting Design Convention Award, the Municipality said in a statement.

The strategy aims to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions from public lighting.

The international recognition was made at the recent convention for International Lighting Design, which took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. The award also highlighted the new lighting standards designed and implemented by the Municipality.
