Abu Dhabi launches clean-up campaign

Abu Dhabi : A major cleanup campaign is being carried out in the area surrounding the fish market in port Mina area.

Under the supervision of the Centre of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi, Lavajet contractor who is responsible for the cleaning services in this area has provided more than 40 cleaners, 3 supervisors, 6 inspectors with required equipment to clean the area.

Approximately 50 tons of scrap and residues of boats and jet skis have been collected and transferred from the fish market to Al Dhafra landfill in Hamim.
