5 new Dubai parks to open this week

Dubai: Dubai Municipality will open five new parks this week as part of the 37th UAE Plantation Week celebrations.

The weeklong programmes under the slogan ‘Let’s plant a greener Emirates together’ will kick-start with the opening of Al Warqa’a 3 Park on Sunday. Nad Al Sheba 2 Park, Al Khawaneej Pond Park, Al Mizhar 2 Park, Hatta Valley Park and the Hatta Square are the other parks that will be opened to the public during the week, the civic body said in a press release.
