Dubai: An Emirati man, Abdul Majeed Abdul Rahman Al Mualla, tragically passed away in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, shortly after performing Umrah rituals for his son, who had died just days earlier in a traffic accident, Al Khaleej Arabic daily reported.

Al Mualla had undertaken the pilgrimage to pray and seek blessings for his late son. Following his death, funeral prayers will be held at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, and he will be laid to rest in the historic Al Mu’alla Cemetery.

The news has touched the hearts of the Emirati community, highlighting the profound devotion and love of a father for his child, even in the face of grief.
