Dubai: The Eid Al Adha holidays may be days away, but there’s no stopping the revelry in Dubai as the 10-day Eid in Dubai- Eid Al Adha kicks off on Thursday.

Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Eid in Dubai offers a wide array of entertainment activities including international concerts, a family fair and fireworks on the beach.

This year’s Eid Al Adha celebrations will be held under the theme “Eid Al Adha unites us in celebration” in anticipation of the influx of tourists from different nationalities who will descend on Dubai for the long break.

Dubai International Airport terminals will be busy playing host to its visitors by according them a warm welcome at its hospitality tents. Visitors will be welcomed with traditional Arabic sweets, dates and coffee to give them a glimpse of Emirati traditions and hospitality.

The annual fireworks are back on Dubai’s open beach along Jumeirah to fascinate revellers every night at 9pm. The open beach will also host the Beach Family Fair, featuring beach and water-based games and activities for families.

Those who fancy non-stop shopping may visit all the eight malls that will stay open for two straight days on the first and second days of Eid Al Adha on October 15 and 16.
