Abu Dhabi: As students prepare for university, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged high school graduates to familiarise themselves with the various platforms available for obtaining attestation of their academic certificates by the ministry and the UAE embassy in their destination country.

In a public advisory shared on its official social media accounts, the ministry encouraged graduates to “attest your high school certificate more easily, quickly, and efficiently” by using the designated channels for attesting academic documents according to the applicable curriculum.

The process, it said, may involve multiple entities: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), and the Ministry of Education.

Certificates issued by ADEK in Abu Dhabi, including attested academic transcripts and “To Whom It May Concern” letters confirming completion of studies, can be authenticated through the Abu Dhabi Government Services platform, TAMM.

Graduates from schools under the Ministry of Education or private schools offering non-ministerial curricula can apply for attestation of general education certificates through the ministry’s website or smart application. In each case, the ministry emphasised, students must also obtain authentication from the UAE embassy in the country where they intend to study.
