Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, conferred more than 450 degrees on American University of Sharjah students on Saturday.
The first batch of students to complete the university's Master of Science in Electrical Engineering were also among the graduates.
Dr Shaikh Sultan commended the university for its achievements.
"The participation of our students and faculty in local, regional and international conferences, seminars and related activities has increased manifold, with our faculty and students gaining recognition and winning numerous awards for their efforts," he said.
"There has also been an increase in interaction between various local and national industries and our faculty and students in order to benefit from mutual expertise," he said.
