Universitas 21 Global launches Master of Science in Information Systems Management (MISM) programme to cater to the demand for IT skills in the region.

What is the MISM programme?

- Information Systems Management (ISM) programmes are designed to prepare IS (information systems) and IT (information technology) professionals for management and leadership roles in a global economy which is increasingly information and technology centric.

- It will appeal to a broad range of students; business analysts, solution architects, project managers, IT managers, consultants and senior IT directors.

- Slated to start in February 2006.

Admission requirements?

- A bachelor's degree and two or more years' relevant IT work experience, or a bachelor's degree with first class honours in a technical field of study

- Evidence of English proficiency;

- A statement of motivation for success through an essay and two references.

- No degree? You can be considered for the Executive Certificate or Executive Diploma if you have eight years' IT work experience.

Duration of the programme?

- 12 subjects, spread over a 12-week period, equating to approximately 10 hours' study per week per subject. On average the programme can be finished in two years.
