Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday presented certificates to 128 graduates comprising the 23rd batch of cadets graduating from the Joint Command and Staff College in Abu Dhabi.

The graduation was attended by Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, and other shaikhs, senior state officials and members of diplomatic corps.

Following a welcome speech by Major General Ahmad Ali Al Ali, Commander of the Staff College, Shaikh Mohammad presented certificates to the graduates, wishing them a successful career in serving their country.

Shaikh Mohammad congratulated the graduates, especially those with a bachelor’s degree in military science, and called on all personnel of the UAE Armed Forces to pursue education in academic and military science and arm themselves with experience and training in various techniques and military skills that help them face challenges with confidence and faith in God and their scientific, military and intellectual capabilities.

He stressed that the UAE uses all its energies and resources in the service of the nation and its march of sustainable development in order to satisfy every Emirati who is at the core of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s attention and care.

Shaikh Mohammad, alongside Lt Gen Shaikh Saif, welcomed the guests attending the ceremony.

As the event came to an end, Shaikh Mohammad posed for a group photo with the graduates and commander of the college.
