Mohammed Mursil excelled by securing top position in UAE with a perfect score
Dubai: Some schools in the UAE following the Kerala syllabus have recorded a 100 per cent pass rate in the Plus Two Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) for the academic year 2024-25.
In the UAE, a total of 590 students appeared for the exams, of which 498 passed resulting in a pass rate of 84.4 per cent, according to available information. As many as 114 students secured A+ grades in all six subjects, 70 of whom are from Model Private School, Abu Dhabi.
“We have a 100 per cent pass rate. This is our best result in the HSE,” Ilyas Jumat Nasari, principal of Model Private School, told Gulf News.
“The secret behind this success is the discipline of our students and the support from our teachers and parents. We are really proud of the results,” Nasari said.
Centum in all subjects
In the Science stream, Mohammed Mursil excelled by securing the top position in the UAE with a perfect score of 1,200 out of 1,200 marks (100 per cent). He was closely followed by Hanan Nawras, who achieved the second position in the UAE with an impressive score of 1,198 marks (99.8 per cent).
Of the 104 students who appeared for the exams from the school, 57 were from the science stream and 47 from the commerce stream.
“Impressively, 70 students achieved A+ grades in all six subjects. In the Gulf region, two schools have achieved a 100 per cent pass rate. Apart from us, New Indian Model School, Sharjah, has also recorded a 100 per cent result,” he added.
At New Indian School, Ras Al Khaimah, the science stream achieved a pass rate of 77.75 per cent, while the commerce stream achieved 81 per cent.
