Explore over 1,000 future-focused programmes at Edufair Dubai
Worried about AI taking over jobs? You’re not alone. The big question is: what should students actually study to stay ahead? That’s where Edufair Dubai comes in. With over 1,000 future-ready courses from top universities in the UAE and abroad, it’s all about helping students choose what really matters. Expect engaging career talks, real insights from industry professionals, and direct interaction with those shaping the future of work. The goal of Edufair is to remove the guesswork from education planning and provide a clear path to in-demand, future-proof careers.
The eighth edition of the event takes place from May 9-11 at The H Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road.
“Edufair Dubai plays a pivotal role in student course selection by serving as a platform where students can explore academic opportunities, engage directly with university representatives, and make informed decisions about their educational future,” says Dr Adam Fenech, Provost, Canadian University Dubai (CUD), a confirmed exhibitor at Edufair Dubai.
According to global reports from the World Economic Forum, International Energy Agency, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, fields like Artificial Intelligence, Renewable Energy, Psychology, and Business Analytics are set to dominate the job market over the next five years. Universities in the UAE are already responding to these trends.
“At the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), we continuously adapt our curricula to meet these evolving demands,” says Dr Stephen Wilhite, Provost at AURAK, also participating at Edufair Dubai.
“This adaptation of curricula is achieved through multiple initiatives such as partnering with industry experts and aligning our programmes with global trends. Our focus is on preparing students not just for today’s jobs, but for tomorrow’s leadership roles,” he says.
With rising demand for smart technologies, sustainable solutions, and data-driven decision-making, Dr Wilhite says AURAK’s programmes aim to equip students with future-proof skills.
“Choosing a programme isn’t just about what’s trending, it’s about finding your purpose and gaining the tools to thrive in a fast-changing world,” Dr Wilhite adds.
Courses in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Cybersecurity remain among the most sought-after among UAE students, as industries increasingly rely on automation, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making.
“Sustainability and Environmental Science is gaining momentum as the global focus shifts toward climate action and responsible resource management, while courses in Public Health and Biotechnology are also in high demand. Others include Business Analytics and Digital Marketing, and Human-Centered Design and Psychology. These forward-thinking programmes prepare students not just for the jobs of today, but for the emerging careers of tomorrow,” says Dr Fenech from Canadian University Dubai.
CUD’s programmes are aligned with future job trends through a mix of academic rigor and market relevance, using tools like employer partnerships, alumni feedback, industry advisory boards, and labour market research.
Healthcare education is also in focus at Edufair Dubai. Qadri International Educational Consultancy will showcase a wide range of programmes in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Public Health.
“Beyond medicine, there is a rising interest in Biomedical Sciences not only for their career flexibility but also due to growing global demand for research professionals, advancements in biotechnology and diagnostics,” says Dr Muhammad Yousuf Qadri, Chief Executive Officer.
Medical education in Europe continues to attract UAE-based students, who are drawn to the affordability, English-taught programmes, and globally recognised degrees.
“Countries like the UK, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Czech Republic, Malta, Cyprus, Georgia, Poland and others are especially popular for their modern infrastructure, practical training and multicultural environments,” says Dr Qadri.
High school students also have much to gain at Edufair. UniHawk’s Learning Lab initiative supports early career exploration by helping students build standout profiles through personal and professional development.
“We stage events such as the Harvard Business and Leadership Bootcamp and Cambridge Tech Lead Bootcamp, we link students directly to opportunities for virtual shadowing and internships, and we offer cultural tours and other immersive activities to support career exploration and development. These initiatives provide real-world experiences that students can draw upon during increasingly competitive admissions processes,” says Varun Jain, CEO and Founder, UniHawk and A Learning Lab, participating at Edufair.
Meanwhile, Unique World Education, with branches in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, will highlight how they can help students get ahead through focused academic coaching and entrance exam training. The institution offers expert instruction for CBSE board exams as well as Indian entrance exams such as NEET-UG, JEE Main, and Advanced.
“At Edufair, students and parents can connect with our team for personalised academic and career guidance. We help identify the best pathways for success in medicine, engineering, and beyond – making the most of their visit through expert mentorship and strategic planning,” says Mohammed Shakkir, Founder & CEO, Unique World Education.
