KHDA launches new summer campaign for students in Dubai.

Dubai: The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has partnered with several organisations to launch a wide array of summer camps and educational programmes across Dubai, aimed at enriching the summer experience for students of all ages and abilities.

These initiatives are part of KHDA’s broader commitment to fostering a culture of lifelong learning, supporting the goals of the #DubaiDestinations summer campaign by Brand Dubai, and contributing to the objectives of the Education 33 (E33) Strategy. By providing accessible, engaging, and culturally grounded activities, KHDA is helping shape the next generation of learners while strengthening community ties.

“The summer initiatives represent KHDA’s continued commitment to fostering lifelong learning and supporting the development of our community,” said Reem Waleed, Acting Head of Learner Skills Development and Wellbeing at KHDA.

“Whether through entrepreneurship programmes, inclusive activities, or internships, we are proud to work with our partners to provide opportunities that empower learners at every stage of their journey. These programmes also align with our E33 strategy, which seeks to inspire a growth mindset and create pathways for learners to thrive, both in school and in life. They also complement the goals of the #DubaiDestinations summer campaign by enriching the summer break with a diverse range of engaging and meaningful activities,” she added.

Key initiatives

CEO under our roof

Organised in partnership with Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart University, this two-week entrepreneurship camp engages students and their families in business-building activities such as app development, start-up pitching, and fund-raising. The programme encourages creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking among young participants.

InternDXB

One of the E33 Strategy’s game-changing initiatives, InternDXB bridges the gap between education and the workplace. It offers students hands-on experience with top organisations including Strategy &, Chalhoub Group, and PwC. The programme equips youth with critical skills while supporting the development of innovative, results-oriented projects in real-world environments.

Ferjan Dubai Summer Camp

Designed for children aged 4 to 15, this KHDA-sponsored camp blends fun, education, and cultural enrichment. Emirati youth lead the programme, offering workshops in arts, sports, and entrepreneurship, alongside interactive experiences like engaging with emergency services and managing small businesses — all rooted in traditional Emirati values.

Dubai Club

Running from 23 June to 1 August 2025, this initiative provides inclusive recreational, educational, and sports activities for people of determination. With features like sign language interpreters and full accessibility support, it reinforces KHDA’s support for the UAE’s Year of Community 2025 by promoting inclusive educational experiences.

In addition to these programmes, KHDA is launching a dedicated social media campaign to spotlight how students across the emirate are making the most of their summer. The campaign will showcase real-life stories, offer family-friendly activity ideas, and highlight educational opportunities that help students stay engaged, inspired, and productive during the break.
