160 students of Ajman-based university hold their graduation

Students were given high school diplomas, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees

Dubai: Around 160 students of the Global Learning Centre (GLC) in Ajman had their seventh convocation ceremony on Thursday at Crowne Plaza in Dubai.

The graduating class consisted of students from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Arab countries. The students were given high school diplomas, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.

Shaikha Azza Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, was present, along with dignitaries, namely, Dr Mariam Mattar, Chairperson of the UAE Genetics Disease Association, and Mohammad Tareq Wazir, Head of Chancery at the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai. Also present were Dr S.M. Tahir, Chairman of GLC and Iqra Group, and Dr Firoz Ahmad, GLC Campus Director, with staff and faculty members of the licensed university in Ajman.

During his speech, Dr Tahir said the university provides total solutions in the education sector while taking care of high school pupils to working professionals for bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees. The degrees are provided in association with its accredited partner universities, namely, American Liberty University in the US, University of Northampton in the UK and Al Khair University in Pakistan, which impart quality education with affordable fee structures.
