13 students fall sick in school prank

Abu Dhabi: A classroom prank at a girls' high school in Ruwais had an unintended end when 13 students fell sick.

One of the girls at Amra Bint Abdul Rahman High School for Girls had placed a pepper spray in one corner of the classroom, said an official at the Abu Dhabi Police General Directorate.

The pupil later confessed to her prank and regretted the harm done. Five girls were discharged after first-aid and the rest were hospitalised. The incident was reported to the Attorney General for legal action.
