Editors: defamation verdict unfair

A Lebanese beauty queen won a libel case against two editors who alleged that she had an affair with a UAE businessman. The two veteran journalsits who were convicted in the Dubai courts said that the verdicts were unfair.

The court in separate cases sentenced them, despite the fact that the story was carried in a newspaper and an online news service operated abroad.
