The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai) has introduced a commemorative passport stamp featuring the official Dubai World Cup 2025 logo.

From April 3 to April 9, 2025, every traveller passing through Dubai airports will receive this special stamp, marking their entry into the city during this prestigious international event.

Tribute to a world-Class event

The Dubai World Cup is among the most prestigious and valuable horse racing competitions globally, hosted annually in the United Arab Emirates.

The launch of this unique passport stamp underscores GDRFA-Dubai’s commitment to celebrating international events and strengthening Dubai’s status as a global hub for sports and tourism.

This initiative is a reflection of Dubai's pride in hosting such a prestigious event, said Lt Gen Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA-Dubai. He added that it showcases Dubai’s commitment to welcoming the world with innovation and hospitality.

Seamless Entry for Participants and Visitors

Beyond the commemorative stamp, GDRFA-Dubai has streamlined the entry process for championship participants, deploying specialised passport control teams at Dubai International Airport.

These teams are ensuring a smooth, efficient arrival experience, reinforcing Dubai’s reputation for seamless travel and world-class hospitality.

Enhancing the traveller experience

This initiative aligns with GDRFA-Dubai’s broader mission to implement innovative and traveler-friendly measures at the UAE’s entry points.

By combining cutting-edge services with meaningful gestures, Dubai continues to enhance its global appeal as a premier destination for major international events.
