Dubai Municipality partners to boost Eid prayer spaces and safeguard architectural heritage

Dubai: Dubai Municipality and the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) have signed a strategic partnership agreement to develop religious facilities and preserve heritage mosques across the emirate.

The agreement also seeks to enhance the designs and readiness of open-air spaces designated for Eid prayers, ensuring they meet the needs of the emirate’s ongoing urban expansion and cope with the urban growth, while safeguarding the emirate’s heritage and architectural identity.

The initiative reflects the Dubai Government’s strategic vision for institutional integration, aimed at improving quality of life and promoting the wellbeing of citizens and residents alike.
