Piece of art

Every new Dalissime, Parfums Salvador Dali's latest creation, bottle is the rebirth of art itself. The creation of the new Dalissime bottle was inspired by one of Salvador Dali's 1946 works: Christmas, which made the cover of Vogue magazine.
The equilibrium of the ruined arch, a kind of geological architecture, was inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's work The Adoration of the Magi which can be seen at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Dali admired the masters of the Italian Renaissance and often refers to their works in his own.
One of the highly original characteristics of Dali's Christmas is its stereoscopic effect: When one superimposes the right and left halves of the painting, a woman's face appears.
Inspiration for the bottle's design stems from the painting's main element, the arch's column: Chin, mouth and nose toped by a composite capital derived from Corinthian architecture. The bottle is partially sculpted in frosted glass which effectively highlights the famous Dalinian nose and mouth.
The fragrance is subtly tinged with an appetising touch of apricot. Peach and apricot are married to a refined and subtle note akin to raspberry. A touch of davana, somewhere between plum and prune, and the head notes invade your senses.
Transparent, oriental, the heart notes are a delicate touch of litchi suddenly encountering lily, so well married to Bengal rose and insolent narcissus which brings out the fragrance's character. The end notes are a veritable homage to the mystical Dali: Sandalwood and Tonka bean mixed with more sensuous notes such as musk.

The new diamond watch collection from Raymond Weil has been launched. Raymond Weil's alignment with music reiterates that each timepiece is rhythmic, in tune, and inscribed with passion and elegance.
Shown during the launch were diamond watches out of four collections: The top-of-the-line Parsifal, ladies line Tema, fashionable Don Giovanni and elegantly classy Chorus collection.
The Parsifal Rectangular is based on the legendary medieval knight "Parsifal". The Jewelled Parsifal Rectangular comes with an exquisite match of noble materials – mother-of-pearl, diamonds and steel. Straight-lined forms, softened by meticulously rounded edges complement this fashionable design.
All-steel for men, the Parsifal Rectangular lends shine to the case and bracelet, while the dial, decorated with Roman numerals and index figures, strikes in pure white. The bezel is punctuated with the collection's eight distinctive studs.

Get a grip

The world's first bespoke pen, with a barrel that can be adjusted by the owner to give the most comfortable 'tailor made' grip, no matter how they like to hold it, or what size the hand, is being launched by A.T. Cross.
Called the Morph pen, it lives up to its name by having a unique soft-touch, expandable barrel that can be gradually transformed from being a conventional cylindrical shape to become an innovative, ergonomically comfortable triangle.
Key to this metamorphosis is a cleverly designed internal mechanism controlled by a moveable band on the barrel. This can be turned to give precision adjustment, transforming the shape to give whatever grip most suits the pen's owner.
Matching this futuristic mechanism, the pen also introduces a completely new 'rocket ship' profile, which tapers sharply from the top and features an innovative floating ball mechanism in the clip, which helps it slide smoothly over any type of fabric.
