Fares highlighted Disney’s growing footprint in the UAE across multiple platforms
Dubai: Tamim Fares, Director of Disney+ MENA, praised the UAE’s dynamic role in cultivating a thriving media and creative sector. Speaking on the opening day of the Arab Media Summit 2025 in Dubai, Fares described the country as a fertile ground for entertainment and media expansion.
Fares highlighted Disney’s growing footprint in the UAE across multiple platforms—ranging from digital streaming and television to entertainment retail and theme parks. He commended the rapid development of the country’s media ecosystem and noted that Disney takes pride in contributing to its progress.
“Participating in the Arab Media Summit offers a valuable opportunity to witness these transformations firsthand,” Fares told the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
To strengthen its regional presence, Disney+ has partnered with key players such as du and Abu Dhabi Media. Additionally, content from affiliated brands like National Geographic has helped the platform gain significant traction among viewers in the region.
