Date Palm Festival begins on November 24

Abu Dhabi: The Emirates International Date Palm Festival will begin on November 24 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

A total of 200 exhibitors representing 16 countries will participate in the festival. The event is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors. Discount rates of up to 40 per cent will be offered on various types of dates sold during the festival. Mohammad Jalal Al Raisi, chairman of the festival’s organising committee, said that the objective of the event is to market dates locally and globally in light of the participation of many countries.
