Visitor jailed for molesting boy on bus

A Dubai court sentenced a visitor to one year in prison for sexually molesting a 14-year-old boy on a public bus.

The 34-year-old Omani will be deported after serving his imprisonment.

The Dubai Court of First Instance heard that the 14-year-old Syrian boy beat up the visitor who sexually molested him.

The molested child told the police he felt someone standing very close behind him.

Then he suspected that something indecent was happening behind him and he could not move aside because the bus was crowded.

Suddenly, he turned and realised that the visitor was molesting him.

The boy pushed him away and started punching him in the face.

Then the bus driver pulled over and the police were called.

Police took the molester to the station for questioning.

The medical examination proved that the DNA traces matched with those of the accused.
