Sharjah: Sharjah Police have arrested two men who specialised in robbing bank customers.

The two Arab men had robbed people in multiple emirates.

Colonel Ebrahim Musabah Al Ajel, Director of Sharjah Police Criminal Investigation Department, said that they had received multiple complaints from people, who said that their money was stolen from their vehicles where they kept the money after withdrawing it.

Using the information provided by the victims, Sharjah Police kept surveillance at the places where these incidents happened frequently and suspected two Arab men.

Police set up an ambush for the two men and they were arrested and confessed to their crimes.

Col Al Ajel said the two men were here on a visit visa.

He urged people to be careful when handling large sums of money and not leave cash unattended in their vehicles, adding that Sharjah Police will not go easy on anyone who thinks they can break the law.
