Two killed in Sharjah in separate incidents
Man dies after falling down stairs in a labour accommodation and a young man dies in a collision
Sharjah: Two people died in two separate incidents on Friday in Sharjah.
In the first incident, a 22-year-old Emirati man died after a motorcycle and a light transport vehicle collided on the upper bridge of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road towards Sharjah.
The police operations room received a call at around 4.30am on Friday. The injured Emirati youth was moved to Al Qasimi Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
In the second incident, a 32-year-old Pakistani man died after falling down stairs at a labour accommodation in Al Saja’a area.
Officials said the body has been transferred to a forensic laboratory for an autopsy so that the cause of death can be established.
