Two cars destroyed in RAK blaze

Ras Al Khaimah: Two cars were destroyed in a fire in Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Nakheel area early on Monday.

No injuries were reported, RAK Civil Defence said.

Firefighters rushed to the scene, cleared the area and put out the flames before handed it over to the competent authorities.

The fire started in one car and spread to car that was parked near it, Brigadier Mohammad Al Zaabi, director of RAK Civil Defence, said.

Police are working to identify the owners of the two cars and the cause of the fire.
