Toddler drowns off Sharjah beach

Buhairah Police investigating the incident and parents will be summoned for questioning

Sharjah: A two-year-old Indian boy drowned on Tuesday afternoon in the Al Mamzar area of Sharjah, an official at Sharjah Police told Gulf News.

The boy was at the beach with his family when he suddenly drifted away from the shore and drowned.

The victim was identified as A.Sh.H., the official said.

The rescue team recovered the body of the boy and transferred him to Al Qasimi Hospital, the official said.

Buhairah Police are investigating the incident and the parents will be summoned for questioning.
