Sharjah: A man was arrested by Sharjah Police on Monday for producing and distributing pornographic DVDs and selling them to workers.
A police spokesman said the suspect from Bangladesh, identified as R.A.L., used computer equipment in his accommodation to make the DVDs.
Police acted on a tip-off and carried out a raid at the place where he was selling the material. Police found 444 porn DVDs hidden in plastic bags and ready for distribution. The suspect has been detained and will be referred to the Sharjah Public Prosecution.
