Public help sought to identify pedestrian in Dubai

Dubai: Police have sought the assistance of the public to help establish the identity of a pedestrian run over by a car. No identification documents were found on the person of the deceased, who was killed in an accident in Al Rifa'a area, said a police statement to the media.

No family member or friends of the deceased have approached the police, the press release said.

Colonel Dr. Abdullah Hassan Bin Dirai, director of Al Rifa'a police station, called on anyone with any information about the man to contact the police on 04-609 5555.
