One woman killed, six injured as minibus turns over on Emirates Road

Dubai: One woman died and six others were injured in a minibus accident on Emirates Road on Monday, traffic police said.

The minibus, which was heading towards Abu Dhabi, skidded and turned over, the police said.

The female passenger died on the spot; two of the injured are in serious condition, said the police.

Speeding seems to be the cause of the accident and police are investigating.
