One dead another seriously injured in Fujairah accident

Fujairah: One man was killed and another seriously injured when their car overturned and crashed on the Masafi-Fujairh road on Wednesday afternoon, a police source said.

The car with two Emirati men on board ended up in a valley by the side of the road. Police suspect the accident was due to speeding.

The dead passenger was named as H.A. Al Ka'abi and the injured driver of the car as A.A. Al Dhanhani, both men in their twenties.

Al Ka'abi died on the spot, police said. Al Dhanhani was taken to Fujairah Hospital with serious injuries.

The accident happened around 4:15pm in Al Ghamra, located between Masafi and Difta.
