Man pleads innocent to murder

Dubai: A minibus driver is pleading innocent to deliberately running over a young man and killing him on Al Khail road following a road rage incident.

"I didn't intend to kill the victim. I ran him over after he surprisingly walked in the middle of the road and in front of my vehicle ... I failed to avoid him," the 32-year-old Pakistani told the Dubai Court of First Instance yesterday.
