Police say they have yet to determine whether 30-year-old Sri Lankan committed suicide or if incident was an accident
Sharjah: A 30-year-old man died after falling from the 22nd-floor balcony of his apartment in the Al Nahda area, a police official told Gulf News.
The incident happened at around 11pm on Thursday.
Police said the Sri Lankan man died due to the impact of the fall.
“Police and ambulances rushed to the area after receiving reports about the incident,” the police said.
After a team from the Criminal and Investigation Department (CID) was dispatched to the building, the man was transferred to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police at Al Buhairah police station have yet to determine whether the fall was accidental or suicide.
