Man commits suicide in Sharjah

Sharjah: An Asian man has reportedly committed suicide in his accommodation in Sharjah, an official at the Sharjah Police told Gulf News.

The police said that an Indian man reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope on Wednesday. He was found hanging from the ceiling in his accommodation in Al Sajja area of Sharjah.

Officials from the Criminal Investigation Department and forensic experts inspected the scene of the incident after Industrial police reported the incident on Wednesday, an official said. The body was transferred to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy while the police have started an investigation into the incident
