Man charged with filming under skirts in Deira

Dubai: A farmer has been charged with secretly filming beneath the skirts of four women shoppers by hiding his mobile phone camera in a sock, a court heard on Tuesday.

Prosecutors accused the 29-year-old Egyptian farmer, M.A., of breaching the modesty and molesting four unknown women when he secretly filmed their private parts while shopping in Deira.

Prosecutors said M.A. switched on his mobile phone camera and placed it inside a torn sock. He was said to have placed the sock in a shopping basket and repeatedly filmed the women's underskirts.
