Man accused of molesting girl reciting Quran

Dubai: A 22-year-old Bangladeshi man was charged with molesting an 11-year-old girl in her home while she was reciting the Quran.

The child told her parents that the man they had hired to help her recite the Quran groped her breasts on three different occasions as well as her thighs.

“She also told me he kissed her on one occasion while memorising Quran,” said the mother.

As soon as the parents found out about the abuse, they called the police. A verdict is expected on July 31.
