They were caught with more than 3,500 pirated CDs, which were hidden inside a telephone cable room.
The two Indians, identified as M.H. and M.A., both 24, will be deported after serving their sentences.
An informer alerted the police about the two men. The illegal vendors were storing the CDs inside the telephone cable room of a building where they were staying.
The police placed the jobless men under observation.
The two were arrested while leaving the cable room with some CDs.
Following a search, the police confiscated more than 3,500 CDs hidden in the cable room. On questioning, the two confessed to selling the pirated CDs.
M.A. said they went to the room to take some more CDs. M.H. told the police that both of them have been illegally selling the CDs for some time.
They had lost their jobs and wanted to earn a living, so they started selling pirated CDs.
The police heard that the two men had been hiding the CDs in the cable room in order to avoid suspicion.
The Dubai Court of First Instance ordered each of the culprits to spend three months in jail, to be followed by deportation.
